The hatch on my 2001 Ford Focus started popping open each time I use my rear windshield wiper. Maybe there is something to be said for having things in a car controlled without the aid of electronics.
I guess the good thing is that I don't have a drive by wire system. I could just see me trying to argue, ..but Officer, I wasn't trying to speed I just turned on my rear wiper and the accelerator just hit the floor.
Mercedes has tested their sidesticks utilizing drive by wire for multiple things (acceleration, steering, braking).
Hmm, so how did you get carpal tunnel. I was driving my Mercedes. ;-)
