The Sound of Music

We went to The Sound of Music at The Muny this past weekend. The kids weren't thrilled about it, but enjoyed it more than they thought they would. As I remember my mom enjoyed the movie when I was a kid. She also had the soundtrack (can you say LP) and listened to it frequently, so it was interesting how familiar the songs were. Not really my cup of tea, but seeing a good production does make a difference and although it was rain delayed, the rain dropped the temperature making for a nice evening.
