Day 2

Finally posting about day 2 without an administrator. It has been a busy week. Anyway, on day 2 I was asked to sit in on a Statewide Network Management Steering Committee meeting. The biggest topic discussed was MODOT's 6 strands of dark fiber. There really seemed to be a cooperative spirit and interest by all agencies in attendance at the meeting. It appears things will progress in efforts between the agencies to see how all can benefit, it just might not be at fiber optic speeds. :-)
