Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I know there were a lot of cars off of the road in Missouri as we made our way to Des Moines, Iowa, the day before Thanksgiving. I hope all involved were okay and only had to deal with a few dents to their vehicles.

We saw one FedEx truck that was pulling two of the smaller trailers. The trailers were still connected, but one was in the ditch. A tow truck was in the process of trying to get it out as we passed. Not sure it is worth absolutely positively getting it there overnight, if it means trying to go faster than conditions allow for, thus endangering yourself and others. It is certain the load was going to be later getting where it was headed than it would have been if they would have slowed down for the road conditions.
