I see sites that have online chat occasionally.  It seems that the majority of them I see use LivePerson.


I was online with an individual that mans the live chat support during business hours for a large tech firm.  I wasn’t sure if one contracts out the entire support where the individuals were LivePerson employees or if they worked for the tech firm.  They were employees of the tech firm and she said there were 3 people on her Information Management team.  I asked about how many live chats her team has in a day and she said 15 or so.  I was surprised the number was so low.
