Qik is an interesting one. Of course, not supported on Samsung Instinct, at least at this time. Social realtime apps like these could let you embarrass yourself around the world instantly, or from a more optimistic look could help in emergency situations. Of course you have some logistics to work on as far as coordinating who sees what, when, etc., but think about being stuck in a collapsed or burning building (or throw in any other emergency situation) and rather than trying to translate what you are seeing to emergency personnel they could immediately see what you are seeing.

Of course, the social applications (Twitter, etc.) are catching more press lately about the possibilities of helping out in disastrous situations. Given that one can even still access the Internet in such situations, you could relay information of outages, closings, delays, etc. We'll see where it goes.
