Kind of funny how some in IT management are starting to talk a bit about Web 2.0, but most things related to broadening our social interactivity in the workplace are blocked or restricted from use. Kind of follows the current results of FCW's poll question, "Is the government ready for Web 2.0?".
Responses at the moment (I took the liberty of rounding):
Yes 11%
No 40%
It barely gets Web 1.0 49%
Just got an e-mail today that stated that a subgroup will be making recommendations on how to relax access to these types of sites. I guess we'll see where that goes.
