Samsung Instinct Error

I started getting an error last night when trying to update information when accessing weather, news, sports, or movies. I don't remember exactly what is said, something about unacceptable action exiting application or something like that. I had turned the phone off, left if off for a while, checked for updates, which none were available. I finally broke down this evening and called Sprint. The rep said that he had just had something come through earlier that addresses the issue. It was an update to Pocket Express, the service used by those applications. He sent me a text with a link to the update. After the download hit 100% the browser window just went white. He said that is what it should do, then he had me turn the phone off and back on. He had me check to see that a couple of the items were working and they were.

Thanks Eric.

Yes, and it is and normally very hard to find at Sprint. Wow, I have had two instances recently where I have called Sprint and actually received answers that fixed my problems in short order.

They just pushed out a text within the past couple of days that addressed the issue I had with the Pocket Express as well, so I would have eventually had a fix even if I didn't call. At least more proactive than usual as well.

Now I get a post from BJ as well offering help. Maybe things are looking up for Sprint Customer Service. YEAH!!!

I haven't had a problem with Pocket Express on my Sprint Treo 700wx. I guess when you have a downloadable app there are any number of things that can go wrong, from the network to the data service to the handset and, yes, the app. But Pocket Express has been one I've had no problems with.

One thing I've recently discovered on Pocket Express is the 411 Listings. I haven't used directories like this much in the past and they always seemed to be more trouble than they are worth (I suspect this is a function available widely). Anyway, it really saved my bacon a couple weeks ago when I was trying to find the location of a job interview.

Do we know if the Palm Pre is going to come with pocket express?
