I Won! I Won!

Okay, what am I going on about. I won Stoogepie's Nude MILF Contest. No the first letter was not changed to Man. Although maybe with Melissa's help I could get a vote or two in such a contest. (Thanks Melissa!)

I was not the Nude One (although it has been mentioned that it would only be fair if I were - not so sure that I am in agreement with that one Crissy).

Oh well, let me explain. I really didn't even win the Nude MILF Contest, I won the Nude MILF Second Chance Contest. The individual that won the Sweepstakes did not claim their prize. Thanks Soapbox. As a result I received the original contest prizes:

• A Sony DSC-T300 Cyber-shot® 10-Megapixel Digital Camera
• A Sony Black Leather Case
• A Sandisk 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo
• Adobe Photoshop CS3
• A signed copy of Melissa Lion’s novel, Swollen.
• A signed copy of Melissa Lion’s novel, Upstream.

The Sweepstakes actually included an HD pocket sized camcorder as well, but it was broken back out as a separate prize for the second chance contest. (Ironically Melissa Lion, the author, whose books were included in my prize, won the camcorder.)

Photos in this post were all taken with the camera I won.

Just to be able to say I did something with PhotoShop in the post, I made a change on the following photo and threw a filter on the last one.

As you can see, the books were addressed to my wife. I thought it more fitting as she is the bookworm in the family and she also happens to like Melissa Lion's writing. Not saying that I don't like Melissa's style, I just don't like reading books in general, no matter who is doing the writing. Never have. Give me a car or photography magazine and let me flip through it and read articles that interest me and that is pushing it. Really, no joke, I am not a big reader.

I figured the camera would also be good for my wife, but upon receiving it, she hasn't seen it much as I have been playing with it. The touch screen and 10.1 megapixel in such a small camera is pretty cool. The problem for my wife is she still thinks it is a bit complex. I think a digital version of the Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic I had when I was a kid would probably be good for her. There wasn't much to do with it, no real choices, Point, Shoot, Advance the film, Repeat. No batteries, just had to put the old flashcube on it if you needed flash.

I'll get her up to speed enough to use the auto mode.

You'll probably see an occasional pic on my photoblog taken with it as well.

Thanks Stoogie (and Crissy - she helped determine the winner) and thanks Melissa!

Yes it is. Thanks.

I usually don't have much luck with contests, and then most of them also have that rule that you can't win if you don't play. :-)
