I have a friend. He is a friend, a father, a grandfather, a husband, a Marine, a worker, a citizen, a developer, a Missourian, a buddy, a patriot, a Christian, a coordinator, a volunteer, a joker, a kind hearted soul, and like the rest of us, a person. A vulnerable person. He suffered a heart attack this past weekend and is not doing so well. His friends and family are all praying for him and the doctors have pretty much done all they can. We are now at a wait and see point.

As most of you out there are a friend of someone, and/or possibly have some family (whether they'll claim you or not), why not take a bit of time out of your busy schedule and go get a checkup/physical to see how you are doing (if it has been a while since you have done so). As I just hit 40 last month and it has been a few years, since having an (ahem) annual physical I just called and scheduled one for next week.

Thanks and take care!
